Floris Elite Shaving Soap In a Wooden Bowl

Aside from the James Bond connection, this is a must-have for fans of proper wet-shaving. First, on the parabens: there are two in the forumla, but even with my sensitive skin they haven't caused irritation. Unless you're allergic or incredibly sensitive, you should be fine. Now, the cream: even less is needed than you'd expect. It's thicker and richer than Taylor's of Old Bond Street, though a little more work is needed to get the lather super silky. The scent is stunning- absolutely the Eucris blend of blackcurrant, oakmoss, and floral notes- and the performance is second-to-none. Gave me a very close shave even with mild blades. Great value for money in a larger tub than other makers, too. Treat yourself, get this. The fragrance lingers afterwards, so you're guaranteed to smell great.

Smells exactly like the Eucris Eau de Toilette- blackcurrant, oakmoss, white musk, subtle flowers, wood. Decidedly masculine- in a Romantic or Edwardian fashion. Not overpowering, and it lasts very well on even warm days. No irritation whatsoever, either. Only a little is needed. Great for a nice occaision or date
