Molecule 02 by Escentric Molecules.

Molecule 02 calls upon one of the oldest perfumery ingredients to deliver a truly outstanding aroma. Ambergris has been used in fragrance houses for many a year, Ambroxan is the note that makes this ingredient so special. Given the huge expense to harvest such an ingredient, Molecule 02 has been developed using a nature-identical aroma molecule to achieve a perfectly matching fragrance.

Things to note about Molecule 02:

1. You can't smell this scent from the bottle, or on yourself, only others can smell it on you.

2. Molecule 02 is more of an effect than an aroma; it's intriguing and enveloping but doesn't give a burst of scent to the nose of the wearer.

3. The colour of the scent can vary from season to season, this is perfectly normal and is due to the fluctuations in the colour of the aroma-chemical, Ambroxan.

Aside from the James Bond connection, this is a must-have for fans of proper wet-shaving. First, on the parabens: there are two in the forumla, but even with my sensitive skin they haven't caused irritation. Unless you're allergic or incredibly sensitive, you should be fine. Now, the cream: even less is needed than you'd expect. It's thicker and richer than Taylor's of Old Bond Street, though a little more work is needed to get the lather super silky. The scent is stunning- absolutely the Eucris blend of blackcurrant, oakmoss, and floral notes- and the performance is second-to-none. Gave me a very close shave even with mild blades. Great value for money in a larger tub than other makers, too. Treat yourself, get this. The fragrance lingers afterwards, so you're guaranteed to smell great.
