Benjamin Clarke, a traditional barber, male grooming expert and amateur scientist developed a hair tonic in the basement of his barber shop. The hair tonic tackled the most common hair care complaints heard from his customers and, as a result, gained huge popularity. Clarke began to sell the hair tonic out of his barber shop but as the word spread, the demand started reaching further afield. By 1950, Clarke had extended the Lucky Tiger collection into a comprehensive range of male grooming products including shave creams, moustache waxes, face cleansers and hair styling products. Lucky Tiger became one of the most popular male grooming collections in North America and to this day, Lucky Tiger trades on solid heritage and age-old formulas.
