I've always worn concealer just under my eyes as I go red there when I have a drink. It's very hard to find something with coverage but that doesn't look like you're wearing makeup. I used to use another one (I forget the brand) that was in a roller tube too but it got discontinued. I was lucky enough to find this brand and it's been brilliant. The retailer is good too, fastest postage ever and very good price.

Lovely little set. Pretty and usable. Unfortunately, I only found two of the scents pleasant (my daughter liked a different two, so spread it around) so I ended up buying a full bottle of 01. Sadly, I seem to be one of those folk that can't really smell it. I can smell it when I spray and get the occasional very light sniff over the next few hours, but nothing otherwise. It's not that weird manly smell that is really common but a tiny bit more flower and citrus...I'm wearing it because I have had a couple of people compliment how nice I smell, and I guess that is the aim...Apparently, my nose will become accustomed to it, but I am not entirely convinced. 😊

I have tried many other shave creams over the years but Castle Forbes is by far the best I have used. I would recommend anyone to give it a go and see what they think. Super razor glide and extremely comfortable shave.

As someone who loves bergamot and usually wears Le Labo’s Bergamote 22, I was looking for something with a similar vibe that didn’t come with quite such a steep price tag. That’s what led me to Malin + Goetz’s Bergamot Eau de Parfum, and honestly, it’s a fantastic alternative that might replace my go to scent.

The bergamot note here is punchy and fresh, just as I like it! Bright citrus with a slightly bitter, green edge that keeps things crisp rather than sweet. While Le Labo leans more complex and airy with its mix of vetiver and amber, Malin + Goetz offers a more direct, almost minimalist interpretation, but that’s not a bad thing. It still has surprising depth.

There’s a soft floral note (muguet) that lightens things up, along with hints of spicy ginger and a subtle aromatic twist. As it dries down, it settles into a warm, woody musky base with traces of cedarwood, enough to give it some longevity and body, but still clean and fresh throughout.

Performance is good for a citrus forward scent at around 5 to 6 hours on my skin, which is impressive. It doesn’t have quite the sillage or layering complexity of Bergamote 22, but for everyday wear, especially here in the UK where fresh scents work well year-round, it's a solid pick.

If you’re into bergamot but want something more budget-friendly than Le Labo, Malin + Goetz’s take is well worth a sniff. It hits the right notes; literally and figuratively.
